Yes, all photos are carefully edited for light and color balance. Only final portraits from photoshoots are always retouched, and other genres can be retouched upon request.

Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, I usually require a 70% non-refundable reservation fee, with the balance due on or before the session date. If this doesn’t fit your budget, we can discuss custom payment plans.
Do you charge travel fees?
Travel within 30 minutes of Winnipeg is usually included. For longer distances, travel fees are charged hourly.
Do you travel long distance for destination photo sessions?
Yes, but travel and accommodation expenses need to be included in your proposal.
Can I see a full photo shoot?
Absolutely! I can share full bodies of work to give you a clear picture of what to expect. Just ask!
Should I tip my photographer?
Tipping is optional and usually ranges from 10-20%. It’s a lovely and unexpected bonus, always appreciated.
Should I make a shot list?
Yes! A shot list helps define the session’s goals, length, and necessary props or locations. It also helps determine how the photos will be used.
Why do you charge for additional photo coverage?
Extra charges cover both the added session time and the increased post-production effort.
The location I want to shoot in is very dark – how do you handle this?

Do I get the copyrights to the photographs?
You’ll receive a “copyright release” or “full usage permissions” but not the actual copyright, which remains with me, the creator.
May I have the raw, unedited files?
Raw, unedited files are not available for viewing or purchase as they include misfires, poor expressions, and duplicates.
Do you ever deliver every image you shoot?
No, only the best images are delivered after eliminating duplicates, misfires, and bad angles.
Who does your printing?
I use professional vendors that provide high-quality, archival products.
What kind of camera/equipment do you use?
I use a Nikon D850, along with various lenses and Godox lighting strobes.
Do you have any advice for an aspiring photographer?
Work hard and consistently on your photography, business, and communication skills. A photography business takes time to build, so be patient and persistent.
How do you handle cancellations and rescheduling?
I understand that life happens. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let me know at least 48 hours in advance. I will do my best to accommodate changes. However, please note that the 70% non-refundable reservation fee may apply to cancellations.
Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes, I offer gift certificates that make the perfect gift for birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, or any special occasion. You can purchase them for any of my photography services.
How long do you keep the images from my photo session?
I typically archive images for up to one year. If you need access to your photos after this period, please let me know, and I can accommodate your request as best as I can.
